ARCH fights to end homelessness in our region by coordinating and empowering the efforts of diverse charities, civic organizations, nonprofits and public institutions working to improve the homeless situation.
For non-emergency homeless housing assistance, please call ARCH at 423-928-2724 for screening and referral to agencies with permanent housing solutions.
Renters
Renters who have experienced economic hardship beginning on or after March 13, 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic and who meet additional eligibility requirements may qualify for the Tennessee Rent Relief Program. Call Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) (844-500-1112) or go to their website. If you do not meet qualifications for Tennessee’s Rent Relief program and being evicted from your rental home, please call ARCH for eligibility screening and referral to an agency that may be able to assist.

For other needs such as utility, food, legal, medical, employment, and education assistance, we recommend you call 2-1-1 or visit your Neighborhood Service Center.
